Business Insights and Conditions Survey (BICS) weighted Scotland estimates containing data to wave 65
Stockpiling
Of businesses not permanently stopped trading, the majority (87.6%) reported they were not stockpiling goods or materials, whereas 6.1% reported that they were, while the rest (6.3%) were unsure. Businesses were also asked about their stock levels of raw materials and finished goods.
Figure 6: Stock levels of raw materials and finished goods were similar, with the majority of applicable businesses (70.7% for raw materials and 67.1% for finished goods) reporting stock levels stayed the same over the latest month.
