A summary of the procurement activities Scottish public bodies reported for the 2023 to 2024 financial year.


Appendix 3: Public bodies included in analysis

For the 2023 to 2024 financial year covered in this report, 125 annual procurement reports were received in time for inclusion in the commissioned analysis. A total of 107 public bodies provided their procurement data for the Hub for the 2023 to 2024 financial year. Below is a breakdown of the public bodies who published their annual procurement reports or participated in the Hub. A full list for both sources is provided in appendices 1 and 2.

As seen in Figure 1, in this reporting period, local government provided the most annual procurement reports for analysis with 30 in total (24%, n=125) (Scottish Government, 2026).

As seen in Figure 2, in this reporting period, local government was the most represented group of public bodies providing their spend analysis with 32 in total (30%, n=107).
