Overview
1. The following is an addendum to the document The Deposit and Return Scheme for Scotland Regulations 2020, as amended by the Deposit and Return Scheme for Scotland (Amendment) Regulations 2025; and the Deposit and Return Scheme for Scotland (Designation of Scheme Administrator) Order 2025 - Full Business and Regulatory Impact Assessment.
2. This addendum explores the impacts of the proposed amendments being made by the Deposit and Return Scheme for Scotland Amendment Regulations 2026; and the Deposit and Return Scheme for Scotland (Designation of Scheme Administrator) Amendment Order 2026.
3. This addendum provides an update to the full Business and Regulatory Impact Assessment (BRIA) and should be read in conjunction with that document.
