Coronavirus (COVID-19): UK Covid-19 Inquiry response

Documents setting out our response to UK Covid-19 Inquiry recommendations, and updates on our progress.

Introduction

The Scottish and UK Governments have set up separate inquiries to examine how the COVID-19 pandemic was handled and identify lessons learned.

This collection covers the UK Covid-19 Inquiry, launched in June 2022, examining the whole UK's preparedness and response across 10 modules.

After each module, the inquiry Chair publishes a report with recommendations. We must respond within 6 months saying whether we agree and what action we'll take, then provide 6-monthly progress updates.

This collection will be updated when modules are completed, and as progress reports are published.

More information, including recommendation reports: UK Covid-19 Inquiry.

The Scottish COVID-19 Inquiry has not yet published its final recommendations. More information at: Scottish COVID-19 Inquiry.
