Summary/Themes

21. Twelve respondents answered this question. Nine agreed with the findings of the impact assessments and three disagreed. The individuals who disagreed took the opportunity to raise issues around EIA requirements and where they believed EIA had failed to address specific issues.

Conclusion

22. Overall, respondents generally supported the proposal for ensuring unauthorised EIA development cannot benefit from enforcement time limits.

23. Respondent feedback from those who were 'not sure' about the proposal focused on the detailed wording of the draft Regulations. Where drafting comments were received, these have been followed up through more detailed discussions.
