Licensing guidance part 2 is intended for Scottish licensing authorities, letting agencies and platforms facilitating short-term lets in Scotland.
Errata notice
An errata was published on May 14th 2026 as a result of updates to references and terminology on PDF pages 4 (Footnote 4), page 5 (paragraph 1.8), page 10 (amendment to “Licence types and policies”), page 22 (Footnote 19), and the removal of Footnote 34 on page 38. The HTML and PDF have been updated to reflect these changes.
