The Scottish Government will aim to notify applicants of their application outcome within six weeks following the relevant checkpoint. This may take longer if high volumes of applications are received.
With the exception of multi-year delivery projects, all applying projects will be required to complete installation and commissioning by the end of March the following year.
For the avoidance of doubt:
- any project applying in checkpoints under group 2 will be required to complete delivery by 31 March 2024
- any project applying in checkpoints under group 3 will be required to complete delivery by 31 March 2025
- any project applying in checkpoints under group 4 will be required to complete delivery by 31 March 2026
As this is an open fund, funding support will be not be allocated equally across the checkpoints. Should all funding be allocated for a financial year, the Scottish Government reserve the right to close future checkpoints.
