Scotland’s Cladding Remediation Programme monthly management information: March 2026

This report presents management information for Scotland’s Cladding Remediation Programme to provide an indication of progress on a monthly basis.

Developer funded assessment and remediation

As at 31 March 2026, six developers had signed the Developer Remediation Contract, which is an agreement to fund and complete essential cladding work in buildings they are responsible for. After signing the contract developers have 30 days to submit an initial data return reporting information relating to all the buildings that they are responsible for. At the end of March only two had been received, so the information in this section reports on these two developers.

As at 31 March 2026, Persimmon Homes had reported that they were responsible for five buildings and Bellway Homes had reported that they were responsible for 18 buildings.

SBAs were underway for four of Persimmon’s five buildings, and an SBA had been completed for the other which is located in Glasgow City. The completed SBA identified recommendations for remediation work, and remediation work had started. Remediation work had also started for one building where the SBA was still underway.

As at 31 March 2026, Bellway Homes had reported that SBAs were underway for 17 of their 18 buildings.
