Who is this consultation for

This consultation is open to anyone with an interest in restrictions on the personal use of mobile phones in schools. We are especially keen to hear from:

  • Pupils
  • Parents and carers
  • Teachers and other school staff
  • Education authorities and education authority schools
  • Independent and grant-aided schools.

We have engaged directly with children and young people during the development of this consultation paper, and their feedback has been reflected in this consultation paper. We will continue to work through relevant organisations to support children and young people to participate in the consultation.
