Police Appeals Tribunal transfer to Scottish Tribunals structure regulations: island communities impact assessment
This publication covers the island communities impact assessment ("ICIA") for the regulations to transfer the Police Appeals Tribunal into the Scottish Tribunals structure.
Conclusion
The Scottish Government has formed an opinion that the proposals for transfer of the Police Appeals Tribunals into the Scottish Tribunals structure is not likely to have an effect on an island community which is significantly different from its effect on other communities (both mainland and other island communities). No negative impacts on island communities were identified during the consultation regarding the proposed transfer.
The proposed regulations are administrative in nature, and it is anticipated that there are no provisions within the set of regulations which would affect an island community differently to other island communities or other communities.
