Summary of aims and desired outcomes of Policy:

This equality impact assessment results report provides a summary of the key findings from the work undertaken to assess potential equality impacts of the Public Participation DPS.

The purpose of the Public Participation DPS is to create a co-ordinated

and high quality approach to public participation across government that ensures a broad range of individuals are engaged in the development of Scottish Government decisions, policies and services that affect them.

There is particular interest in ensuring that individuals identified as being seldom heard and furthest from decision making are inclusively involved in public participation work.
