Title of policy: The Public Bodies (Joint Working) (Integration Joint Boards) (Scotland) Amendment Order 2025 (also referred to as “the Order”)
Summary of aims and desired outcomes of Policy: Lived experience members of IJBs do not currently have voting rights. It is the intention that the legislative change will provide unpaid carer, service user and third sector reps with a more formal role on IJBs through having voting rights, enabling them to meaningfully participate and influence decisions made by the IJB.
