A sub-group of the Physical Intervention and Seclusion Working Group.
The recording and monitoring sub group was convened in May 2021. Its main remit is to consider the current approach taken by local authorities to record and monitor incidents and make recommendations for the development of a standard dataset. The group will also develop recommendations on ways to improve the systems currently used.
Members include representatives from the following organisations:
- North Ayrshire Council
- Highland Council
- CALM Training
- University of Edinburgh
- Fife Council
- Children and Young Peoples Commissioner Scotland (CYPCS)
- National Parent Forum of Scotland (NPFS)
- Positive and Active Behaviour Support Scotland (PABSS)

- The Association of Scottish Principal Educational Psychologists (ASPEP)
- SOLAR/City of Glasgow Council
- Scottish Government
