Why we have this fund
The Pathways Pre-Start Fund aims to bring more people into the entrepreneurship pipeline by offering pre-start business support. The fund will also aim to reach people who might not otherwise consider entrepreneurship and business start-up, encouraging new entrepreneurial talent. Pre-start support seeks to widen participation in business from people in groups historically under-represented in entrepreneurship, with a particular focus on closing the gender gap in entrepreneurial participation as articulated in the Pathways report. This fund supports our commitment to the implementation of the Pathways report.
