Pathways Pre-start Fund: form and guidance
Information about applying to the Pathways Pre-start Fund which aims to bring more people into the entrepreneurship pipeline by offering pre-start business support.
How to apply
To apply for the Pathways Pre-Start Fund, you should:
- complete the application form (found in ‘Supporting Documents’)
- email it to entrepreneurship-pathways@gov.scot
Contact us at the above email address if you need the form provided in an alternative format for accessibility reasons.
Applications must be submitted by 30 September 2023.
In the application, you will be asked to provide information about:
- project details
- projected costs
- how you will monitor progress

After you submit your application
When we receive your application, we will assess it against the fund criteria and get back to you with a decision by no later than 31 October 2023.
If your application is successful
If your application is successful, you will receive an offer of grant detailing the conditions of funding.
