Information for third sector organisations on how to apply for funding to run oral health projects in deprived areas.

Payments and monitoring

Grant payments

Grants must be spent and all funding activities carried out between 1 July 2019 and 31 March 2022.

At the end of this period, your organisation should have made specific improvements to reducing oral health inequalities amongst communities in areas of multiple deprivation. These improvements should be sustainable beyond the end of the grant period.

You will receive an initial advance payment of 50% of the first year grant value at the start of the funding period. Following this, you will receive quarterly payments in advance provided you send us statements of expenditure and progress reports.

Reporting and evaluation

In addition to progress reports, you will be asked to provide case study examples and take part in any Scottish Government events relating to the funding programme.

Our Oral Health Community Challenge Fund manager will be in touch with your project to discuss any support needs you have.
