The unlimited licence agreement (ULA) with Oracle UK Limited expired on 8 April 2013.
All organisations that participated in the ULA are now included in an annual support agreement which commenced on 9 April 2013. This agreement is renewed annually. The latest renewal in April 2019 has extended the support agreement till April 2021.
A new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the UK Government and Oracle. This provides a number of benefits to all Scottish public sector bodies.

What is in scope
Technology database products that were included in the Oracle ULA.
What is out of scope
All other Oracle licences.
Who is this available to
Scottish public sectors in scope are participating organisations within central government and local authorities.
All organisations participating in the Oracle support agreement have received regular communications from Scottish Procurement and have declared all the licences that they wish to be included in the agreement.
No new organisations can be added to the support agreement.
By signing up to the new two year support agreement this grants all participating organisations free extended support for all products included in the SG support agreement.
This is part of the MoU arrangement.
