NHS Scotland Global Citizenship Doing It Well
The Guide provides advice and guidance for NHS Scotland Health Boards and staff about how to get involved in Global Citizenship at home and overseas. This includes guidance on risk assessments, safeguarding and building sustainable partnerships and relationships.
Acknowledgements
The NHS Scotland Global Citizenship Guide ‘Doing It Well’ was updated in 2026 with input from the NHS Scotland Global Citizenship Lead Champions. It builds on the excellent resources and toolkits available which we have acknowledged in the Guide. It is a working document that we will continue to add to and build on, using the experience and learning from our colleagues involved in global citizenship.
