Neurological Framework funding - round 4: form and guidance

How to apply for round 4 funding to support the implementation of Scotland's Neurological Care and Support Framework. The closing date for applications is Friday 11 August 2023.

How to apply

  1. Complete the application form under supporting documents, providing concise and evidenced information about the proposal.
  2. Email it to: Clinical_Priorities@gov.scot by close of play on Friday 11 August 2023.
  3. Applicants will receive an automatic email acknowledging receipt of their application.

Assessment process

Applications will be assessed by the Scottish Government and informed by the National Advisory Committee for Neurological Conditions Executive.

Applicants will be advised of the decision by email before the end of August 2023.

If you are successful, you will be asked to provide supporting documents – such as your most recent annual accounts, cash flow forecast (including assumptions), and how you comply with the Fair Work First: guidance to 30 June 2023 - gov.scot (www.gov.scot).

2023 to 2024 successful projects will be required to submit brief quarterly progress reports across the funding period with regular support and evaluation meetings held.

Depending on the applications received, Scottish Government may expect successful projects to collaborate further during the projects (e.g. sharing interim progress as part of a project network, or with potential early adopters).

A short, publicly available final report describing what the project has done should also be submitted at the end of the grant period. We will provide guidance on this.
