Note on Camera Assessment

To support the implementation of the National Strategy a standard tool for assessment of public space CCTV systems is under development. This tool will comprise a methodology that allows for assessment of the output and relevance of camera positions across the police and local authority partnership. It is anticipated this will be ready for spring 2011.
