Debt advice levy funding

Debt advice levy funding allocated by the Scottish Government.

The debt advice levy provides funding for the free debt advice sector in Scotland. It is applied to the financial services industry by the Financial Conduct Authority, based on the proportion of adults in each of the nations of the UK who are indebted in the previous year. The amount of funding available varies from year to year.

Authority to allocate funding from the debt advice levy in Scotland was devolved to the Scottish Government from 1 January 2019.  The organisations and services which have been allocated  funding for each year since be seen by selecting the relevant year from the menu on this page
