These key capabilities are designed to allow students within social work degree programmes to map their specific learning in this area.
Appendix 2
The Child Protection Training and Development Project was funded by the Scottish Executive and commissioned to the Scottish Institute for Excellence in Social Work Education. It was completed between 2004-2006 using a collaborative approach, with project staff working closely with academics and practitioners from across Scotland. (see Appendix 1)
Project staff were drawn from the University of Dundee Child Protection Unit led by Professor Brigid Daniel with overall project management resting with the Institute.
