Former First Minister and the City of London Corporation’s Special Representative to the EU meeting information: FOI release
Information request and response under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.
Information requested
Information relating to a meeting on 27 April 2017 between the then First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon, and Jeremy Browne:
1. Confirmation of whether such a meeting took place, including the location, time, duration, and list of attendees (including any Scottish Government officials or special advisers present).
2. Any agenda, pre-meeting briefing notes, or preparation materials provided to the First Minister or officials.
3. Any minutes, notes (handwritten or typed), summaries, action points, or records of discussions taken during or after the meeting.
4. Any post-meeting briefing, follow-up correspondence, emails, or reports related to the meeting.
5. If the meeting was in an official capacity, any related correspondence (internal or external) mentioning the purpose or outcomes of the meeting.
If any information is held but withheld, please provide details of the relevant exemptions under FOISA and explain why they apply. If no records exist, please confirm this and explain any searches conducted.
If the information is already publicly available (e.g., via previous FOI releases on gov.scot), please direct me to it.
