Details on the percentage or number of bookings where a linguist has been assigned to an assignment located more than 45 miles from the assignment's location. Additionally, we would appreciate it if you could specify the languages involved in these assignments.

Response

The information provided in response to this FOISA request covers the period 01 April 2024 to 31 January 2025 and relates to services awarded under the current Scottish Government collaborative Framework for the provision of Interpreting, Translation and Transcription Services. In total, there were 4,396 assignments which required travel over the 45 mile radius.
