Clarification of SNP advert regarding school estates statistics: FOI release

Information requested The SNP advert above claims 1000 schools built or upgraded. What constitutes an upgrade in SNP terms? Is it a contract value, or any repair?


Statistics from the 2021 School Estates Core Facts Survey show that 1,000 schools have been built or substantially refurbished since 2007-08. Only builds or refurbishments costing at least half a million pounds for primary and at least one million pounds for secondary and special schools are included this figure.
