You asked for: of the appointments referred to in the following publication, please tell me how many appointments were (a) permanent and (b) temporary.

Please also detail of all advice sent by the Scottish Government regarding the permanence of these appointments.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance the Scottish Government does not have some of the information you have requested. I am unable provide the number of temporary and permanent appointment this funding bought as the Scottish Government does not collate information on local authority recruitment. Recruitment practices are matters for each individual local authorities.

I have attached 2 copies of the allocation letters which were sent to all 32 local authorities. The letters provide advice on their funding allocation.
