Recommendations and Conclusion

The Equality Impact Assessment has supported understanding of issues that impact those with protected characteristics and has helped to ensure that these matters are reflected within the policy approach.

The provision of a healthy nutritious meals to an additional age group of pupils is considered to have a positive impact on such pupils.

No negative impacts were identified. The policy is considered to be neutral in relation to protected characteristics, with the exception of the protected characteristics of age and race which this policy is considered to positively impact.
