Entrepreneurial Education Fund: projects funded

Projects awarded funding to develop new approaches to teaching entrepreneurship in schools and colleges.


Projects funded: 2025 to 2026

The Entrepreneurial Education Fund supports new ideas for teaching entrepreneurship to young people and their teachers.

Twelve projects will share up to £1,020,383 in 2025 to 2026. Projects run from October 2025 to March 2026.

The successful projects are:

University of Strathclyde (£49,505)
From Myth to Method: Continuing Profesional Development (CPD) Entrepreneurial Mindset Training for Primary School Teachers
To create CPD training for primary school teachers on entrepreneurial mindsets, including lesson plans and materials.

Socialudo (£49,893)
Scaling Social Deal: National Rollout of Scotland's Social Enterprise Game
To roll out Social Deal, a social enterprise game, across Scotland following initial funding in 2024-2025.

South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture (£168,150)
Future Pathways
To develop entrepreneurial activities across South Lanarkshire's 18 secondary schools.

High School of Glasgow (£100,000)
START
Deliver an SCQF-accredited programme combining interdisciplinary learning and startup business experience for S6 pupils.

Growbiz (£37,037)
Inclusive Self-Employment and Entrepreneurial Development
To deliver "Discover your Entrepreneurial Skills" workshops in Ayrshire, Perth and Kinross, and Cairngorms National Park.

Scotland's Rural College (£28,400)
Activating Enterprise in the Northeast of Scotland's S5 and S6 Pupils
To develop and evaluate materials that build entrepreneurial skills in S5 and S6 pupils.

University of Strathclyde (£128,428)
ALTRA: Where Change Begins
To develop and pilot ALTRA (Alternative Learning Tool for Role-based Adaptation), a simulation-based programme to widen access to entrepreneurship in three colleges.

Dumfries and Galloway College (£15,000)
Start Something: Entrepreneurial Mindset for College Students
To develop an entrepreneurship programme for college students across vocational courses.

Powering Futures (£171,861)
Challenge for Education
To deliver SCQF-accredited entrepreneurial learning in 103 secondary schools.

University of the West of Scotland (£30,626)
UWS Ignite: Imagination to Innovation Hackathon
To develop an entrepreneurship programme for S3 pupils from schools near University of the West of Scotland campuses.

Forth Valley College (£77,348)
Campus Catalyst: Forth Valley College's Collaborative Approach to Entrepreneurial Futures
To develop and pilot an entrepreneurial skills programme for Forth Valley College learners, staff and school partners, working with Stirling Council and STEP.

Daydream Believers (£164,135)
Creative Innovation
To create and accredit a new SCQF Level 5 and 6 Creative Innovation qualification.
