Details of your current contract covering reprographics/print arrangements as follows:

  • Number of MFDs (Multi-functional devices) & photocopiers at the Scottish Government
  • Name of incumbent
  • Start/end date of contract. If this is a call off arrangement, please advise when you expect to revisit the marketplace
  • Details of any extension options
  • Number of regular/desktop printers (in addition to above)
  • Is there a support contract on above, if yes state start/end date?
  • Do you have a Print Room?
  • If yes, name of supplier, number of devices and start/end date of contract, also details of any extension options
  • Finally, please provide a full list of all government departments/agencies who use this arrangement

The answer to your question is below:

  • Number of MFDs (Multi-functional devices) & photocopiers at the Scottish Government - 325 MFD’s plus 14 Desktop MFD’s
  • Name of incumbent - Ricoh UK Ltd
  • Start/end date of contract. - Devices were purchased from Ricoh under the Managed Print Solutions framework (SP-21-046, https://www.gov.scot/publications/procurement-managedprint- solutions-framework/) or its predecessor framework. The current framework commenced 22nd August 2022 and runs until 21st August 2024.
  • Details of any extension options – The Managed Print Solutions framework (SP-21-046) has the option to be extended for 2 x 12-month periods.
  • Number of regular/desktop printers (in addition to above) – 55 Printers
  • Is there a support contract on above, if yes state start/end date? - The Managed Print Solutions framework (SP-21-046) commenced 22nd August 2022 and runs until 21st August 2024, and provides for the delivery of maintenance and support services.
  • Do you have a Print Room? – No
  • If yes, name of supplier, number of devices and start/end date of contract, also details of any extension options – n/a
  • Finally, please provide a full list of all government departments/agencies who use this arrangement – a full list of Scottish Government Directorates that are eligible to call off from the Managed Print Solutions framework can be found at the following link https://www.gov.scot/about/how-government-isrun/ directorates/
