Conclusion

This report and its appendices set out the positive progress made towards delivering the current Creating Hope Together action plan, largely through Suicide Prevention Scotland. It has set out the breadth of action underway and provides a strong picture of progress towards the long-term outcomes and recognises the positive impact Suicide Prevention Scotland has had in driving this.

The electronic recording system supports monitoring and evaluation across the action plan, ensuring the delivery collective is able to easily evidence progress. While there are some challenges and risks, all milestones have been achieved, and all actions are on track.

It is also clear from the level of engagement across sectors that the ambition of creating a community of organisations and people working across Scotland to prevent suicide is being realised.

This puts Suicide Prevention Scotland in a good position to drive forward work in the final year of delivery of the current three-year action plan.
