9. Export to non- EU countries

60. Countries outside the EU have varying requirements in terms of proving that seed, and in some cases ware, potatoes are free from PCN. In most cases the testing carried out under the new Directive will be sufficient. However, some countries require consignment testing or impose other criteria. Consignment testing for export is carried out by SASA. A fee is charged for this service (currently £30.50).
