Easy read summary version of the consultation report on the draft regulations for Anne's Law which impose new duties relating to visiting in care homes on care home providers.
Notification Requirements
When visits are stopped most people agreed that care homes should tell:
- the Care Inspectorate
- the local Chief Social Work Officer
Because of what people told us, we will think about adding a regulation.
This would mean if the care home decided to stop any visiting, they must tell:
- the people living in the care home
- their family and friends
