9. Assessing impact

We propose to carry out impact assessments alongside the development of any newpolicies or legislation which would be required to implement the changes proposed in this consultation.

These include a Data Protection Impact Assessment, Child Rights and WellbeingImpact Assessment, Equality Impact Assessment (related to the protectedcharacteristics of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civilpartnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, and sexualorientation). We would be interested in your views on these areas to help us indeveloping these and any other necessary assessments.
