There is some evidence to suggest that the priorities and policies contained within the Strategy have the potential to be advantageous to children and young people’s wellbeing. This applies to the following wellbeing indicators:

Achieving – by supporting the development of skills, for example in reuse and repair, and by normalising the use of second hand and reused goods.

Responsible – by supporting awareness of the environmental and human impacts of consumption and waste on local and global communities.

Please see question 2 for more on the potential impacts from specific measures, which will be dependent on the implementation of those priorities.

11. How will you communicate to children and young people the impact that the proposal will have on their rights?

This CRWIA will be published on gov.scot alongside the Circular Economy Strategy so those wishing to access it can do so.

As far as possible, this CRWIA has been written in accessible language so those reading it can understand its content.
