An errata was published on 02/05/2023. The HTML and Word document have been updated as a result of changes to Publication Tables 2.9 and 2.10, and Additional Tables 2.13 and 5.1 – 5.7. Key headline statistics to have changed are as follows:

  • on 31 July 2022, 696 (change from 687) young people were in continuing care – up 24% on 31 July 2021 (pages 3 and 46 of the Word document)
  • on 31 July 2022, 8,132 (change from 8,053) young people were eligible for aftercare services – up 11% (change from 10%) on 31 July 2021 (pages 4 and 47 of the Word document)
  • on 31 July 2022, 4,108 (change from 4,021) young people were receiving aftercare services – up 5% (change from 2%) on 2020-21 (pages 4 and 47 of the Word document)
  • headline statistics infographic for these corresponding changes (page 2 of the Word document)

On 13/06/2023 Additional Table 4.2 percentage calculations were updated to refer to percentage across local authorities in place of percentage across Scotland.

On 28/11/2023 Additional Tables file was re-uploaded to the corrected version.
