Children are more likely than the Scottish average to live in families with limited resources if:
- they live in a lone parent household
- they have 3 or more siblings
- a disabled adult lives with them
- none or only one adult work
Children are less likely than the Scottish average to live in families with limited resources if:
- two or more adults live with them
- two adults work
Percentage of children who live in families with limited resources.
What the data says:
"Children in lone parent families are at a higher risk of being in poverty."
What the data doesn't say:
"All lone parent families are poor."
Disability status considers disability of all adults in the household.
Work status considers the employment of up to two adults in the family. We have no information about any further adults.
