12. Planning for the review of impact on children’s rights and wellbeing
Further impact assessments will be carried out if identified as necessary, including when setting rates in secondary legislation. The Scottish Government intends to monitor and evaluate the potential economic impacts of the SBSL once the tax is operational. The Bill contains a provision for Scottish Ministers to report on the operation of the SBSL, including how the proceeds from the levy have been used.
