The Billing system snapshot is a list of each individual non-domestic rates relief in place at the snapshot date, along with associated property reference numbers, provided annually to the Scottish Government by local councils.

Billing system snapshot 2024
The Billing system snapshot contains details of all non-domestic rates reliefs in place on the snapshot date. Additional information is collected to help match this data to the non-domestic valuation roll.
Snapshot date and return deadline
The snapshot date for the 2024 Billing system snapshot is 1 June 2024. Returns should be sent by email to lgfstats@gov.scot by 6 June.
This data is used in analysis and modelling of non-domestic rates reliefs. A summary of the data is published annually in Non-domestic rates relief statistics.
