Turnover

Businesses that were currently trading were asked how their turnover in April 2025 compared with the previous calendar month.

Figure 4: For an estimated 26.8% of businesses turnover had decreased in April 2025 compared to March 2025. The Professional, Scientific & Technical Activities sector had the highest share experiencing a fall (41.5%), followed by Manufacturing (40.0%). For 25.1% of businesses turnover had increased.
