Overview

The framework is a single supplier framework with Royal Bank of Scotland being the appointed supplier. Royal Bank of Scotland has committed to pay the real Living Wage to staff directly involved in delivering services under the framework agreement.

This framework agreement is for the provision of banking services for public sector organisations including the third sector.

What is in scope

The framework supplier will provide comprehensive local banking services including but not limited to:

  • bank accounts
  • project bank accounts
  • direct debits
  • faster payments
  • BACS
  • CHAPS
  • bulk cash processing
  • cheques and digital imaging
  • foreign currency
  • debit cards
  • electronic and internet banking

What is out of scope

The framework does not cover:

  • merchant acquiring services
  • credit cards/e-procurement cards

Who can use this

This framework is open to all Scottish public sector organisations, including the third sector. 

Public bodies wishing to utilise the framework will be required to complete the framework Schedule 5 (call-off contract) which must be signed by the public body and Royal Bank of Scotland prior to organisations accessing the framework.

Note: it is the responsibility of any buying organisation wishing to use the framework agreement to satisfy itself that it is eligible to do so.
