Marine and freshwater: areas of research interest
This document articulates the Areas of Research Interest (ARI) for Marine and Freshwater. Resulting knowledge and innovation will support evidence-based policy development towards delivering Scotland’s Blue Economy Vision and addressing climate change and biodiversity crises.
Further engagement opportunities
Scottish Government’s Marine Science Innovation strategy (2024) laid great emphasis on collaboration. Collaborative opportunities are proposed in the strategy’s Implementation Plan to be published during 2025.
