Children - raising the age of referral: consultation analysis

Independent analysis of responses to the public consultation on raising the age at which children can be referred to the Children's Reporter.


1 Two individuals answered both the Easy Read and main consultation questions and these were treated as separate responses to allow their contributions to the different sets of questions to be included.

2 In response to an earlier question, one respondent suggested that, if legislation changed, the children’s hearings system should be renamed the ‘children and young people’s hearings system’ to counter this stigma.
