Procurement: Professional Practice and Development Forum
Overview
This forum is a subgroup of the Public Procurement Group (PPG).
It supports an overarching focus on professional procurement capability by:
- championing standards and enabling learning – supporting and championing our national procurement and commercial competency/development framework across Scotland and identifying, opening up and signposting cross-sectoral learning and skills opportunities that other sectors can access
- career development – identifying, attracting, growing, developing and retaining new and existing talent, enabling CPD, career development and succession planning, with development pathways for all
- monitoring and addressing learning priorities – identifying and addressing national, new and emerging training priorities to ensure we have the skills and capabilities we need today and in the future to deliver for Scotland
