Public Procurement Group (PPG)

Overview

The group is made up of the heads of Procurement Centres of Expertise and senior Scottish Government procurement officials, who work together to set the strategic direction and priorities for public procurement in Scotland. 

The PPG is responsible for ensuring that the collective spending power of the public sector is used to deliver world class, value adding collaborative procurement services; while enabling sustainable and inclusive economic recovery and growth and establishing a robust, wellbeing, greener economy.
