Migration and Population Expert Advisory Group

Overview

This independent Expert Advisory Group on Migration and Population was established in October 2018.

The purpose is to provide independent expert analysis and advice to Scottish Government ministers on migration and population.

The group is currently comprised of academics from six institutions:

Professor Rebecca Kay (Chair), Migration Policy Scotland
Professor Michael Anderson, University of Edinburgh
Dr Andrew Copus, University of Eastern Finland and James Hutton Institute, Aberdeen
Professor Hill Kulu, University of St Andrews
Professor Philomena De Lima, University of the Highlands and Islands
Dr Rachel Marangozov, Institute for Employment Studies and Migration Work CIC
