General Practice Programme Board
Overview
This board was established in January 2025, replacing the GMS Oversight Group.
The board will:
- provide oversight and leadership on the programme of work underway to support general practice
- support the wider system’s understanding of work underway to support general practice
- provide advice as required on work being undertaken in the wider system that will impact general practice
Meetings occur quarterly and includes representation from HSCPs, NHS health boards, Scottish Government (SG) and the Scottish Government Practitioners Committee of the BMA (SGPC) at each meeting.
