Future Pandemic Preparedness: Ministerial Oversight Group

Overview

The group was established to ensure Future Pandemic Preparedness is prioritised across all areas of government to effectively manage the future pandemic risk. The group's first meeting took place on 30 January 2025.   

The group will oversee the development and implementation of an updated pandemic preparedness framework which responds to the lessons identified from COVID and other high consequence infectious diseases.
