Evaluation report of the Youth Employment Scotland Fund (YESF) to assess its impact on young people and employers.

1. Scotland's Employer Recruitment Incentive ( SERI) was launched in June 2015 with a commitment to assist employers in supporting young people into jobs. The scheme was paused amid uncertainty following the Chancellor's spending review and how it would affect Scottish budget. SERI will resume in April 2016 with a sharper focus on the job prospects of young people who face the biggest barriers to employment, including those with disabilities. Details of the resumed SERI are still being worked out.

2. The extension allowed for jobs starts to 30 th June 2015 for a 6 month period of support up to 31 st December 2015.
