Violence Prevention Framework for Scotland (VPF) End of programme report

The End of programme report is the final progress report on Scotland’s Violence Prevention Framework (VPF), covering the three-year period from 2023 to 2026. The report summarises achievements to date, noting remaining challenges, and indicating that next steps will be considered.

2. End of programme report

On its publication in 2023, the Violence Prevention Framework for Scotland (VPF) set out a comprehensive programme of activity over three years to prevent violence from happening in the first place and to reduce the impact when it does[1]. The Framework was the first of its kind in Scotland. It reflects the absolute priority the Scottish Government continues to give to violence prevention and its vision to build a safer nation while making sure young people have the best start in life, to allow them to grow and reach their full potential. This final annual report summarises the progress that has been made during the last three years with our partners.
