Our assessment does not identify any unique impacts, wider impacts, or potential barriers on island communities specifically. As set out above, it is a high-level policy document that references key areas of focus in the development of offshore wind including: planning and regulatory reform, investment in supply chain and ports, developing a skilled workforce, and community benefits. Specific work being taken forward in each of these areas will be subject to their own ICIAs.
